WBH Population Survey 2020

A total of 27 White-bellied Herons (WBH) were recorded during the 18th annual population survey, which was conducted from 27 February – 02 March 2020. The survey confirmed 24 adults and three sub-adult individuals, which is two more than the previous year. The first WBH population survey was conducted in 2003, and it has been an annual event of the Royal Society for Protection of Nature’s (RSPN) WBH Recovery Program. Read more
