Royal Society for Protection of Nature in Thimphu would like to invite sealed quotations from eligible National Consultancy Firms for the following task:

To carry out a baseline survey in Samtse District on Water, Sanitation and Hygien (WASH)

DETAILS ON CONSULTANCY WORKS

1. Types of Engagement: Consultancy Service for conducting Baseline Survey in Samtse District on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH).
2. Period of Engagement and task: The consultancy firm will be hired for 30 days (20 Days in the Field and 5 days each for designing survey questionnaire and reporting).
3. Line of Reporting: Project Officer, WASH, RSPN, Thimphu.

Purpose/Objectives: The main purpose/objective of this consultancy is to conduct of a Baseline Survey keeping in mind that the Baseline Survey is one of the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) data components that need to be integrated with socio-economic data required for the implementation of a WASH Programme in the Gewogs of Phuntshopelri and Yoeseltse in Samtse Dzongkhag. In this context, the baseline survey should not only define the different components of water, sanitation and hygiene of the communities of the two Gewogs, but together with the socio-economic data, enable us to see the overall representation of the project areas.
