MoU signed between RSPN and DoFPS

Royal Society for Protection of Nature (RSPN) has entered into Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Forests and Park Services (DoFPS) under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests, Royal Government of Bhutan.

The MoU on ‘Biodiversity and Ecosystem Conservation’ will promote cooperation in the field of Species and Habitat, Water Resources Management and Research and reinforce mutual exchange of relevant important information between the two organizations for effective implementation of the programs.

The signing ceremony was done in RSPN headquarter, Kawajangsa, Thimphu on 12 February 2016 by Mr. Chencho Norbu, Director General, DoFPS and Dr. Kinley Tenzin, Executive Director, RSPN, in the presence of RSPN’s Hon’ble Chairperson and the Board of Directors, Divisional Chief Forestry Officers and RSPN staff.
