Namgyal Wangchuk

Mr. Namgyal served for 22 years with Druk Air Corporation Ltd, Bhutan Olympic Committee,
and Army Welfare Project, before joining Royal Society for Protection of Nature (RSPN) in
2026 as Chief, Administration and Finance. Over the course of his career, he has held several
positions including Accounts Officer, Finance Officer, Head of Administration and Finance, and
Chief, Sports Research and Development Division, gaining extensive experience in financial
management, administration, planning, and budgeting. He has also served as the Interim General
Secretary of the Bhutan Aquatics Federation, further strengthening his leadership and
management capabilities.

Mr. Namgyal holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Curtin University of
Technology, Australia (2011), and a Postgraduate Certificate in Financial Management from the
Royal Institute of Management (2003).
