On this very significant day, RSPN takes much pleasure in updating our partners and supporters regarding the plantation activities we have been carrying out.

As a part of restoration activities for degraded habitats of White-bellied Heron, RSPN is taking series of habitat improvement initiatives. One among many is plantation. In partnership with Department of Forest and Park Services, Green Bhutan Corporation Limited, Hydro Power Agency, Community Forest Groups, and private individuals, RSPN has already restored more than 30 hectares of the land.

The plantation carried out will help sustaining both biodiversity and the communities. Considering the importance of planting trees as also a means to mitigate various climate impacts, RSPN will put robust effort in planting many more plants in the coming years.
