Chubbachu Stream Cleaning Campaign – November 30, 2017

Together with our partners, Bhutan Toilet Org and Ministry of Health the seventh cleaning of the Chubachu Stream is successfully carried out on November 30, 2017. The one to one advocacy program is also initiated with the communities residing near the stream. RSPN along with the agencies and communities residing along the buffer of the stream has been cleaning the stream every month. The adoption and cleaning of the stream was expected to create awareness and sensitize the communities and the commuters on waste management and more so, on the clean water bodies.

The participants collected 55 kilograms of the waste mostly pet bottles and plastics. We thank all our partners for your continued support in maintaining the stream.
