RSPN rceived a generous donation from Thimphu City Football Club), who have been supporting the conservation of the Critically Endangered White-bellied Heron through an inspiring initiative.

𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄?

For every goal scored, the Club donates $25 to protect and conserve this rare bird. This initiative is a powerful reminder that sportsmanship can drive conservation, showing that every effort on or off the field, can make a meaningful difference.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Hishey Tshering, a passionate nature lover and former RSPN staff; Ms. Barbara Kelley (USA) for her continued support; and the heroes of Thimphu City Football Club for dedicating their goals to the White-bellied Heron.
