With blessings from Punakha Dzong, more than 100 surveyors have spread out across major river basins and tributaries to monitor the critically endangered 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲-𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻.

Covering both known and potential habitats, this nationwide effort reflects our shared commitment to protecting our rivers and safeguarding one of the world’s rarest birds.
